Welcome to ILLiad, Luther's Interlibrary Loan service!
ILLiad is Luther College Library’s interlibrary loan management software, allowing you to request materials from other libraries and track and manage your requests online.
- To place a request, enter your Norse Key user name and password and the ILLiad Main Menu will come up.
- Your ILLiad account information is secure through the college’s Norse Key authentication system.
- First-time users must complete a short User Information Page to set up an ILLiad account.
- Once you register, you can view and manage your ILLiad account online at any time, both on and off campus.
- Students, faculty, and staff, as well as emeriti faculty and faculty/staff spouses, can use interlibrary loan for both work-related and personal requests.
- Faculty/staff spouses can request a Norse key from the Luther Helpdesk at helpdesk@luther.edu or x1000.
- Community patrons, Luther College alumni, and dependents of Luther College employees do not have interlibrary loan privileges, but can contact their local public library for this service.
- We now provide article requests through electronic desktop delivery, rather than sending articles via Campus Mail to your SPO or office or holding them for pick up at the Circulation Desk. To access your article, log on to Illiad, scroll past "Request Types" to "Review Requests" and click "View/Download Electronically Received Articles."
